Do you know what the limitations of Asterisk are. Let's assume we have got a normal server/PC (2.5 GHz, 1 GB memory) with all the necessary hardware installed
- Calls to the outside world (PSTN/PLMN) will go thru this gateway - what is the maximum number of simultaneously calls on the system above? (rough estimation if you have some experience would be great!)
- Do SIP calls (on net) use asterisk only for the signalling and send the (voice) data directly to each other?
