I don't have the answer to your question, I just know that it doesn't work in the Netherlands. That does not mean it will not work in the UK, as UK uses a different standard. While searching for specs I found that in the UK there's different caller-id standards in use amongst the different telco's. I'd suggest you locate the exact protocol spec for BT caller ID.
