Hi Dan, I have tested calls between two ATA186s both running g729 for 10 - 15 minutes and the codec has perfomed well and with no delays. This has been on a LAN environment.
Next week I plan to test it on the Internet with SIP endpoints thousands of miles apart. I will let you know how it turns out.
