Hi, since there is some kind of chicken-'n'-egg problem regarding VoIPv6 (there are (almost) no useragents because there is (almost) no SIP infrastructure) I'm putting up a bounty of US$200 on my personal expense to IPv6 support in Asterisk in (at least) chan_sip and chan_iax2.
Some information can be found on the Asterisk bounty page on voip-info http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+bounty+IPv6 . I don't have enough SIP knowledge to say that is the full required featureset. In general, Asterisk should support fully dual-stacked operation transparent from the user's point of view. There has been an initial patch for IPv6 support on this list http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.telephony.pbx.asterisk.devel/8241 http://www.hem.za.org/asterisk-ipv6_20050404-2.patch.gz for CVS HEAD in early April this year, which was kind of working on the CVS repository at that date, but of course has some glitches and of course fails to apply on current CVS HEAD. I've tried to contact the author by mail to see whether he was still working on that and needed additional support, but didn't get any answer.
