I think you're wrong. By definition ASSP_AFC means "AttachmentFullCheck Plugin".
So I don't see, why AFC shouldn't scan all attachments.

ASSP_AFC is "Archive File Checker" - so it's not involved (I believe) in
processing "plain" exe/bin attachments.

Set DoBlockExes to block.

If you're testing against a local or whitelisted sender - set BlockWLExes to
nocheck.  Same for BlockNPExes.

Hi,

I can't get ASSP_AFC 4.89 to block attachments with executable code.

If I configure UserAttach to
<code>
[allDomains]=>block-in=>exe\-bin
</code>
I get
...
Group allDomains match for: '[email protected]'
...
legacy attachment levels are not checked - please configure UserAttach
... .

If I configure UserAttach to
<code>
block-in=>exe\-bin
</code>
I get
...
ZIP: [email protected] -> [email protected] => no 'block' rule
found for compressed attachments (see UserAttach)
ZIP: [email protected] -> [email protected] => no 'good' rule found
for compressed attachments (see UserAttach)
[email protected] -> [email protected] => no UserAttach rule found
... .

What the hell am I doing wrong?

Regards,
Markus
