Hello gentleman,

We are having issues with multiple users, mainly on windows systems and ASSP.

They can get a blockreport without any issues as well as the whole ASSP mail
interface is working beautifully well. We have been able to tune it up and even
though some spam still gets through, it's working well in overall.

However, there is 1 outstanding issue I struggle with.

I have enabled both links int he blockreport for the users. Most of the users
use Zimbra desktop and Outlook (different variants). Unfortunately, whichever
link they use, they have different problems. Zimbra Desktop can't be really
assigned as default mail client in Windows 10, only .eml files can be assigned
to it.

Within zimbra, if you click on any of the links, it will only open another
zimbra desktop. So that does not work. If you have outlook installed, an
Outlook can open but it will ask you to configure an account as there are no
account configured.

What do you do guys in a mixed environments? How do you deal with mailto links?
If we do not fix this within few days, I would have to abandon assp at whole,
even though I really, really like it.

I have one great suggestion to the developer who spent countless hours on this
excellent product. How about have a link in the blockreport which instead of
using old fashioned mailto technology will actual open an url to a server which
will release quarantined email? This will, I believe, work 100% on any system.
I click on the resend link and the following website for example be open:

http(s)://mx.myasspserver.com/resend?2945762974sf-ID-OF-The-Email-l230572985

And the page will just simply say:

Quarantined email released.

Please, can anyone help me with the current release links and tell me what do
you think about my idea about the URL instead of MAILTO.

Many thanks.

Kind regards,

Oliver

The country is governed for the richest, for the corporations, the bankers, the
land speculators, and for the exploiters of labor. The majority of mankind are
working people. So long as their fair demands - the ownership and control of
their livelihoods - are set at naught, we can have neither men’s rights nor
women’s rights. The majority of mankind is ground down by industrial oppression
in order that the small remnant may live in ease.
