Subject: [Assp-user] question about setting up backup mx server
I am working to setup a backup mx server for my hosting, I am currently
running 1.9.9 (13345)
And I need to know if there are any issues or considerations that need to
be
looked at in terms of spam filtering since the way I understand it when
mail
comes from the backup MX server it will look to be good mail to the spam
filter since its coming from a good ip address? is that correct or no?
Also if I turned on spamassasin filtering on the backup mx server (like
suggested here
https://features.cpanel.net/topic/spamassassin-when-cpanel-is-backup-mail-se
rver-aka-secondary-mx ) would that create any problems when the mail
arrives here to assp?
Thanks
John
