Good day.

We need a usefull possibility to manage spam/notspam/discarded/resent folders.
Now we
have mail server with courier-imap (clients mail boxes) and ASSP openvz
container with
dovecot (only for spam management). Dovecot has only one box "spamreporter".
This box has
SPAM/NOTSPAM subfolders, people move mails to them, there is script which
copies mails
from subfilders to ASSP's spam/notspam. Once per 4 hours ASSP rebuilds its
bases against
spam/notspam folders.

Also I copy mails from discarded folder to ".Thrash" in spamreporter box and
sort emails
(find false-positive).

I am not sure if it is right. Dovecot chnges file names so their extentions are
not .eml . It can be something like "--14620.eml:2,S". Seems that dovecot does
not modify
file content but only changes file name.

I have tried to move such file to resend folder but nothing was happen.

What ASSP does whith not-eml files copied to spam/notspam/resend folders ?

Is any more usefull way to manage spam/notspam/discarded/resent folders ?

P.S.
I can not even find console or X-windows MUA for linux which normal handles
*.eml :-)
ASSP still in testmode - only mark messages with ASSP-headers.
