No, but I upgraded to b15075 when it was available, and then started seeing the 'hmmdb' mysql table filled up with a few hundred MB of data, and a few million records, which is more inline with what I was expecting. Now it doesn't seem to 'forget' the HMM DB if it crashes or is restarted.
