This measure aims to enhance security and protect against botnet attacks. As a list owner, you will notice this change when you log in to manage your lists. What to Expect: After February 3, 2025, you will notice the addition of an “I am not a robot” CAPTCHA. When you log in to Listserv, enter your username and password as usual. After logging in, you will be prompted to select “I am not a robot” before accessing Listserv. What is a CAPTCHA? CAPTCHA stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart." It's a security tool that helps verify that you are a human and not an automated program (bot). These tasks are easy for humans but difficult for bots, helping to keep our listserv system secure. For further information, please contact me at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.
