There might be a small difference apart from checking what mode you are on - which is the Best Practice Mode that you should be in..
When deleting a form as opposed to a form overlay, I think you should still get a warning that this action will delete all data and workflow associated with the form.. Do you want to continue.. that kind of thing.. Do not hold me on it if this is not the case, but I am quite certain that happens.. Has anyone submitted an Idea on this? The same goes for deleting workflow overlays. I remember holding my breath the first time I did it... LOL !.... A nice little "Delete Overlay" vs. "Delete" would have been nice in the GUI. Ensure you are in the 'Best Practice' mode of Dev Studio, highlight the form with the overlay, and tell it to delete the form. This seems like it would delete the form, but it deletes the overlay....:) On Wed, Apr 22, 2015 at 8:49 AM, Tim Genworth <[email protected]> wrote: I had a support call where they said, in passing, I should remove overlays from certain forms, but now that I go into dev studio, I don't see where/how to do that. How do you remove all overlay from a form? Will it remove that overlay icon from the symbol as well so I can see visually which ones still have it?
