Hey listers, I have heard rumors that BIRT (Remedy Web reporting) is going to be deprecated in a very near future release. ITSM 9 or 10?
Is this official or just a rumor? The client is investing a significant amount of work to build reports using BIRT. They also have Business Objects, but that is not a great tool for day to day reporting. Its like using a ferrari to go to the corner store a block away. Its nice to drive but its not necessary.
