Hi Misi,

Can you please provide a detail description of the tool you designed and how to
use the tool and does it helps in finding the errors that occur during import
like sometimes while importing forms our forms gets corrupted so for avoiding
all those issues have you done something in the tool.

Regards
Irna Gupta

Subject: Re: Importing Data Through Command Prompt

Hi,

I built a tool that does exactly that:
https://rrr.se/cgi/tools/main?tool=rrrImportDef

The main reason for building it was not to be able to run it from the command
line, but:
- to be able to import large def files
- to see the progress of the import in real time
- to be able to easily connect any error messages to the actual object that
failed

It will work on any version, as it is just a matter of sending the actual text
from the def file to the server through the ARImport() API-call.
