In granular overlays, do I have to overlay the view if all I want to do is change the position of one field?
Mueller: you still have to overlay the view because the field is on the view, but only the field layout data is changed. Dev studio handles the underlying layers for you. You use add field to view overlay, not overlaying the field itself.
