The JVM variables are usually configured in the start scripts, so search
all the files for a value. Weblogic, like most "enterprise" products, has
evolved and bloated over the years. It's got a number of start scripts,
environment variables, etc. Setting JVM options used to be done with
WLS_OPTIONS and then change to MW_OPTIONS ("MIddleWhere") when Oracle
purchased BEA. I think. But there's nothing clever here - you should be bale to find the values in a script. With respect to monitoring, there may be something in the admin console but you could always write something to make a GET request against the application every X minutes and report back if it's unavailable. _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org "Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years"
