So do your ITSM people records for these users reflect "Support Staff"?
and if so does this reflect just IT Staff?

If so you could use '1000000025' = "YES"

Else you could create a traditional remedy group that reflects these
users, and use $\GROUPS$

I cannot do that since a user is designated an IT Staff by a flag that
only exists on the HR database. We received a full load from HR and we
will continue to receive deltas going forward. There is no integration
between HR and Remedy. However, there is an integration between LDAP and
Remedy. The flag does not exist on LDAP. So far, I have all the pieces
of the puzzle to make this work. My main intention is to leverage
existing workflow, which I was successful to do, but was unable to
update the user record on the user form and make him/her belong to this
entitlement group. I am sure if I give it some thoughts, I will be able
to do it, but I just wanted to see if I am headed in the right direction
before I invest any more time.

Thanks,

Moe.

**

Can you not do entitlement based on the org or department?

Subject: SRM 7.6.02 Entitlement

We have a requirement to create an entitlement group for our IT Staff to
view specific SRDs available only to IT. We have approximately around
2500+ users designated as IT personnel. Is there a way to bulk upload
those user in the IT Staff Entitlement group we created? I created
workflow to mimic exactly what happens when you manually add someone to
the group, but for some reason, the record in the User form does not get
updated with the Entitlement group.

I was wondering if anyone has come across similar requirement or need to
do something like that? Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Moe
