Listers,

I have come across an issue, possibly a bug. Not sure any of you have come
across this issue and if there is a workaround or another way to solve the
problem

I have a filter on a regular form that is doing a set fields action
The set fields is doing a lookup from a join form to bring the values
The run if qualification looks something like this:
    ('Instance ID' = $Instance ID$ AND (EXTERNAL ($External Qual$))
The $External Qual$ value is based on user preference settings and cannot be
modified. The fields used in the $External Qual$ are referencing the Join Form.
The option to change the field types on any of the forms does not exist.

When the qualification has a selection field that is coming from the primary
form that makes up the join, then the set fields behaves as expected.

However, when the qualification has a selection field that is coming from the
secondary form that makes the join, then the set fields behaves as though that
selection field part of the qualification does not even exist.

I am hoping there is a way to address this.

Here's the environment details:
AR Server 7.1.0 Patch 6 on Linux
Oracle 10g R3 on Linux
ITSM 7.0.1 Patch 9

Thanks,
--
Shyam
