Hi All, We are aware of this issue and working on providing a fix. In the meantime, workaround is to run the approval server on dedicated plugin-server.

That's the kicker - there's no difference. I am talking a COMPLETELY fresh install - nothing changed whatsoever in the app, conf files, or db. Patch 004 works - nothing higher does... Are you getting an error message in any of the logs? If you have a working Patch 4 I would compare the config options (in the armonitor.cfg, ar.conf, and pluginsvr/ pluginsvr_config.xml). The base install works fine but after starting the server the arplugin server dies. Commenting out the approval server fixes the problem - the plugin server works fine.however, the next step is to install the CMDB + ITSM, so we definitly need the approval server. The environment appears to be correct - and the unix ldd command shows no missing dependencies from this file for the approval server in the ar.conf file: /<install dir>/ar/approval/bin/arapprove.so Patch 004 does not have this problem.
