They kicked us out of Body English (aka the Welcome Reception). It is great to be with a wonderful mix of Remedy folks again. Being here reminds me of how darn cool Remedy people and the community are. I think most of us are very busy in our "normal" lives. When we get together and share the love (ok, getting sappy here) of a really great product/tool/RDE/toy we forget about the project deadlines and seemingly impossible requirements/demands. We get to know each other as people and are truly happy to share each other's company and relax a little. I am not trying to rub it in for those who could not make it but if you have been to a RUG before you know what I am talking about. I met some people tonight who are new to Remedy and I think I saw some excitement and the sense of community rubbing off on them. You should have seen the reaction when pointing out that it was Doug Mueller, a CTO at BMC and founding father of Remedy, walking around serving cupcakes :)
