Enslin,

You could do this with a bit of a work around..

Have a home page that has absolutely nothing on it.. Just a gray scale page..

And on Window Open of that page you could open the dialog that you want..

Other than that there is no option to open the Home Page itself as a dialog as
a dialog box is a child window to a parent, and there has to be a parent to
that child..

Cheers

Joe

one would want to call it :-) ]]]

Subject: Dialog View Type

**
Hi Everyone

Is it possible to open a Display-Only Form in a Dialog Window Type view from
the standard Home Page?

We are using ARS 7.1
Once the employee click on the link from the homepage, a small pop-up window
must appear and depending on the button selected a active link will then open
the relevant form using window open action etc. I want this to work in the user
tool and the web.

I did create a Display-Only Form with two buttons and three fields, positioned
it all top left corner.
In Form properties I enabled the Entry-Point

Now this will just open the windows in a big/normal screen and not the dialog
pop-up view.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards
Enslin
