Hi Listers, We are upgrading from CMBD 2.1 to CMDB 7.6, with ITSM 7.0.03, client is currently using IBM Websphere (Midtier). I'd like to get clarification about the third party requirements outlined in the BMC Documentation:
Tomcat 5.5 or 6.0 Microsoft IIS with ServletExec 5.0 (Client is currently using Windows 2003, shipped with IIS 6.0) Note: We will NOT be installing the Web Servicess feature of the CMDB. Question: Do we need to install Tomcat and Servlet Exec in the Application Server OR the Midtier Server? Is CMDB 7.6 compatible with Web Sphere? Any configuration changes to be compatible with Web Sphere? Can we install Tomcat & Servlet Exec in the Midtier without any issues with the Web Sphere?
