Dear Listers, I am in the processing of setting up a second server (in a server group) to run AIE. The first server already has a fully running instance of AIE, but we want to setup another instance for additional processing. AIE 7.1.0 Patch 6 AR System 7.1.0 Patch 6 ITSM 7.1.0 Patch 9. Oracle 10gR3
All running on RHEL The basic installer was completed a while back, but the AIE process was never started on this server until now. I attempted to start AIE on this server, but i get the following error: EIE home directory not specified. Service terminating (check the registry key entry).Initialization failed, rc = 9 I have all the configurations for the second instance in AIE pointing to the correct values --> eie.cfg, eie.reg, aie001 (shell script). I have also created Data Exchanges for the second instance (duplicate of the ones that are for first instance, except the AIE instance name is different). Not sure what else I am missing that is giving us the above error. Any pointers or suggestions for troubleshooting this further?
