In the past, I setup the escalation to create new and update all existing people in Remedy. I also added a field to the people record to identify that it is being updated from Active Directory. Then added a second escalation. If that field was set to Yes and the record hadn't been modified in the last update from AD (because it no longer exists in AD) then to delete the user from Remedy.
