John, I heartily concur that the question you pose is far more interesting, but far too often management is trying to advance some agenda of its own rather than be interesting or academic.
In this case, the number of maximum concurrent users and the total number of licensed users more than fits the requirements. ;-D Jennifer Meyer ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John Sundberg Sent: Monday, August 03, 2009 11:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: How many users are on your system? I think the most interesting question - is max concurrent users and then a "normal daily max". Then -- the follow on question -- what architecture do you have to support that. Cause -- you could split 10,000 floating licenses across 100,000,000 people -- of which -- if only 10 access at a time -- who cares. -John On Jul 29, 2009, at 4:16 PM, Meyer, Jennifer L wrote: ** Quick poll: Do any of you support a Remedy system with more than 1,000 LICENSED users?
