I did an ipconfig /all and verified that the MAC is not changing after
rebooting.

The document from the first URL you sent indicates that the that the OUI
prefix for an ESX server would always be 00:0C:29 for automatically
generated MAC addresses and 00:50:56 for manually assigned MAC addresses.
The server's MAC begins with 00:50:56 which is consistent for a manually
assigned MAC and does not match any of the Host IDs that we have seen.

I'll submit a issue with BMC in the morning if the Network team can't track
back these Host IDs.
