Hi all, I just need some guidance, to make sure I am not missing anything. I haven't installed the OOTB since HPD 4x came out...Been a while. This is the situation. We have ITSM version 4.x (I think it is 4.7) running on ARS 7.01 patch 008. The installation was done on the C drive. Our server team people wants us to move it to the D drive. The SLA module was highly customized and cannot be simply reinstalled. The database is on a remote server. This is on a virtualized server. I have asked the server team to take a snapshot of the server and the DBA to do a full backup of the DB, just in case. I was thinking of a simple installation on the D drive of the ARS server but, not sure if I am going in the right direction since it is involving ITSM This move was attempted over 1 year ago ( "before my time") and I have no documentation what so ever of what went wrong. I was only told that the SLA module was the culprit for one server and ARS42i for the other server (that one doesn't have the OOTB).
Any suggestions on how to move to another Drive? we are on Windows XP SQL 2005 ITSM 4.7 (?)
