We ran into problems with existing web services. There was a change in handling web service namespace at 7.0.1 patch 4. Basically, you need to have ARS and Midtier both below or above 7.0.1 patch 4 or you may run into the same trouble.

So far no issues, BMC compatibility matrix also says 7.1 midtier is compatible with 6.3 arserver.
