We are trying to upgrade our existing production system to AR Server 7.1 that is currently running an in-house help desk application built with following configuration.
Hardware Server: Sun Sparc OS: Sun Solaris 8 Database: Oracle 9i AR Server: 6.00.01 Patch 1497 In order to do the upgrade first in development environment, we installed Novell SUSE 10 with Oracle 10gR2 and AR server 7.1 Patch 3 application on IBM Blade server. Then, we imported the ARAdmin data form production system running with Oracle 9i through Oracle import process. The data was imported successfully. After that, I ran installer for AR server 7.1 with upgrade option and installer did not run successfully and threw following error message.
