Lou It should be the Group ID field value from the standard Group form.
I assume this value may be held in another field in your Support Group form, or there is a value there that will link to a real record in the Group form. Did I look in the wrong place? I did try it without the SGP and the leading zeros but it still did set the value to 1. The link does fire according to the Active Link log. It should look something like: $PROCESS$ @@:Application-Confirm-Group 73400 HTH David Sanders Remedy Solution Architect Enterprise Service Suite @ Work ========================== ARS List Award Winner 2005 Best 3rd party Remedy Application See the ESS Concepts Guide tel +44 1494 468980 mobile +44 7710 377761 email [EMAIL PROTECTED] web http://www.westoverconsulting.co.uk -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Louis Cobuccio Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2008 8:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Set Integer Field Based on Group ID Good Afternoon, I am trying to set an integer field based on the group id of user opening the a form. I then hope to leverage this field for an active link. We are a Windows shop, Windows Server 2003, MS SQL 2005, AR applications v 7.0.01 patch 006. I've done this before in AR Systems 6.3 and Change v 5.6. Here is how I setup the active link in the old system.... Execute on Window Loaded, no Run If Qualification. If Action has a Set Field action where the field Name is the zTmpInteger field and the value is $PROCESS$ @@:Application-Confirm-Group SGP000000000121. So if you are a member of Support Group Id SGP000000000121 then the zTmpInteger field would be set to 1. This worked great under the old system, I just want to confirm that this same command works in the new version. Any thoughts would be great.
