Thank you Tim Powell for the copy, much appreciated. Now for the real question. I have a 4.5.2 server that for various reasons, can't be upgraded. We are looking to enable LDAP authentication. This is on Solaris. Looking at the docs it says if you do xref blank password it will look in /etc/passwd file. When I look at the Programmers Guide it says that AREA is supported, you just need to write it yourself. My question is this. If I enable LDAP authentication on my Solaris server, will that cause the remedy system to be LDAP enabled, or do I need to write (as the programming guide suggests) my own API program to do this for me. That being said, does anyone have a 4.5.2 AREA program they would be willing to share?
