Michael, It lists SharePoint Services 2.0 (6.0.2.8122) when I check the Site Settings. Things would be simpler if I had a contact but the people that set up the sites are the equivalent of Remedy ARS Subadmins who only touch the tools build to administer an Application. No real backend knowledge.
Carey mentioned checking for a Java API but again I have no contacts for real "under-the-hood" work. I'll try contacting the DBA, if I can identify them. Thanks, John J.
