Anil,
 
    I think cookies would be your best bet, but you would have to modify
login.jsp pretty significantly.  I would try to keep it on the
client-side as much as possible.  You could do this through JavaScript.

Hi All,
            I am using Mid Tier 7.0, and I want to implement the
functionality which saves the login name of the user in the login page.
The functionality should work similar to "Remember my login Id" on any
web site. 
Can any one have any suggestions. I think this can be done through
cookies but I don't know from where I can enable the cookies.
