Kathy, View or Vendor doesn't matter to AR System. Just use whatever workflow you need to get the data into your Regular form. If you could give a scenario for your import needs we could help you. My first guess. You want to update some form of lookup table that you built in ARS. Run an escalation that does a PUSH fields from the View form into a Regular form. If you want ALL of the data leave the Push action qualification blank and select Create a New Request from the "If no response matches" drop down. You also need to clear out the old data prior to doing the push. Or you can use a value from the current Regular form and match it to the corresponding field on the view form and only import (Push) values that don't exist (Create a New request). And if something matches, select Modify all matching requests or Modify First Matching request. ( This depends on unique matching criteria. There are many other options basically because the View form IS a Remedy form, it just accesses somebody else's data.

I realize I need to create a filter and escalation. I am just not sure how to do this. Has anyone ever done this workflow before? Correction - these are view tables. ________________________________ See what's free at AOL.com <http://www.aol.com?ncid=AOLAOF00020000000503> . __20060125_______________________This posting was submitted with HTML in it___ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are"
