If you do
    ls -lt login.jsp
It should tell you which login is the owner and what the permissions are

You will then need to either login as that login or as root to change the owner
or permissions

Subject: Modify login.jsp on Unix mid tier

Hello,

I am trying to edit login.jsp on 7.6 Unix mid tier but getting an error
'Permission denied. You are not the owner'. I also tried changing the
permissions still no luck.
Rename the file or moving a new file didnt work too.

Trying to add a 'System maintenance message' on top of the login screen.

How can I change the permission and update the file?

Thanks!
Kaur
