Hi Basil,
We have a HP UX 6.3 arsystem and i was plagued with the arserver crashing with a sig11 which didnt log anything to the error log. Eventually i tracked it down to a notification filter that had a semi colon ";" between mail addresses. I replaced it with a comma and crashes went away.
