I have my own IP block, which I waited a long time on the list for. Stratus brought this issue to my attention and thought that it could be addressed on this list. I felt it was unfair, so I voiced my opinion. There were no incentives offered or recieved, but Stratus has always been a good provider and vendor so I chose to try and help them. I, though, spent time to formulate an answer and not just cut and paste so to speak, but others are within their right to do so as well, being as this is a public list. Make whatever assumptions you'd like, speaking for myself I would not have spoke up if I felt the issue was addressed fairly.
It is a public list, but such a display of manufactured "support" appears to be an attempt to manipulate policy in a way that is not for the benefit of the community it's supposed to serve. Often when someone wants a policy to happen so badly that they're willing to try to tip the scales in their favor by any means necessary, it usually means it's not good for the rest of us.
