Understanding the Current Status Of "Mark-to-Market" Accounting Standards

** Discounts apply for early registration. See information below to register in
this event. **

Summary: Critics contend that Mark-to-Market Accounting Standard is one of the
causes of the country’s financial dilemma. Otherwise known as “fair value
accounting,” this standard requires companies to value securities they hold at
their current selling price. Banks are apprehensive because they fear that this
standard might have an adverse effect on the valuation of their assets.
Mark-to-Market accounting is likely here to stay, therefore companies need to
understand how to best manage their positions held in financial instruments to
survive in this challenging environment.

The Knowledge Congress is assembling a panel of distinguished professionals and
key regulators to discuss recent developments on this regulation. The speakers
will present their expert opinions in a two-hour LIVE Webinar. The event will
take place on March 19, 2009, 12:00nn to 2:00pm (ET).
