We are website product development company planning to develop a centralized online Content Management System (CMS). Around 1000 concurrent users are expected to create/edit their web pages within the CMS system. We need to develop  a scalable and high performance system to maintain our clients' websites. The system has to maintain about 1 million user websites and all the versions of each users' website. To achieve this (using WebDAV), we are planning to use Apache Slide API's (Tomcat 5.0 & Slide API bundle) for the CMS development. In this context, we would like to clarify the following

1. Are there any bench marks, measuring the performance of Apache slide?
2. It seems that the current version (2.1) of Slide is not fully implementing Delta-V technology for versioning. If not, how efficiently is it handled? When it is likely to be implemented fully? If implemented fully in future, how easy/difficult will be the migration from the current version?
3. Since hundreds of concurrent users are likely to use the proposed CMS, can Slide scale to that extent?
4. Since about 1 million user websites and all the versions of each users' website have to be maintained within the proposed CMS, can Slide handle a repository of that size?
