I mean, I put my homedir in | svn and check that out on new machines, so the package thing might | be useful. now that i read your application... that's a great idea to keep backups, now that you write it... it is version controlled, checksumed and every file can be assigned ownership by a pkg. the only thing missing is a makepkg mod called synchpkg that would diff the contents and update the pkg. hmm... *in thoughts*
