Hello, I'm proposing we put php libraries like smarty and jpgraph in:
/usr/share/php and create a symlink to point to the most recent version, for example: /usr/share/php/smarty-2.6.18 /usr/share/php/smarty (symlink to 2.6.18) Like this, the applications using smarty don't have to change anything when smarty gets updated to, for example, 2.6.19. Ofcourse this does require that we put /usr/share/php in include_dir in php.ini What do you guys think of this? (jpgraph already does this, see http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?do_Details=1&ID=11594&O=0&L=0&C=0&K=jpgraph&SB=n&SO=a&PP=25&do_MyPackages=0&do_Orphans=0&SeB=nd) Glenn _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
