How do i use only udev? Have i to put a "!hotplug" instead of having no "hotplug" in the rc.conf? Sorry for this simple question about it. My Daemons looks like this: DAEMONS=(syslog-ng dbus hal !pcmcia network portmap nfslock netfs crond anacrond cups ntpd alsamixer postfix smartd) And there is another thing what confuses me a little bit in this case: I use iscan (scanner application for epson scanner) and this put files to /etc/hotplug. So i think it looks there for them. Sane have there files too.
