ok... I've been watching this discussion for quite some time... and just finally made up my mind: aur via abs would be bad
My reasons for saying that are the following: the PKGBUILD's in AUR have every chances of not being tested properly. It has been said many times on the forums and on the IRC channel that "untrusted" PKGBJUILDs should be built as normal user under fakeroot, to be sure no files are overwritten... of that wyou don't end up with garbage files clogging your file system... Well having the AUR as part of abs would make this impossible... my 2 cents :/ > Am Dienstag, 3. Mai 2005 15:16 hackte Armando M.
