Oops - make that 6 packages! Sorry, my counting skills go away after 11:00 pm ;)
Barton ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: Sound just died Date: Wednesday 06 April 2005 11:46 pm From: Barton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] I just updated 4 packages via pacman and sound just died on me. I double checked all the settings, modules, scripts, nothing was changed that I can find. The packages that were updated were: dirmngr-0.9.1-1.pkg.tar.gz kdeartwork-3.4.0-5.pkg.tar.gz flac-1.1.2-1.pkg.tar.gz libassuan-0.6.9-1.pkg.tar.gz gnupg2-1.9.15-1.pkg.tar.gz libksba-0.9.10-1.pkg.tar.gz Because kdeartwork was upgraded, I logged out and restarted X, then logged back in... and no sound. Been pulling my hair out over it for a bit, anyone have any ideas or has this happened to anyone else? Volumes are all up and not muted, correct modules loaded, alsaconfig reports sound card as responding, alsamixer shows volumes up and not muted, arts is set to use alsa, kde volumes all the way up. Sound has worked perfectly up to now...
