Hello everyone,

Since yesterday, I've been having trouble accessing the Arch Wiki from
my network. My browser tells me the site is taking too long to respond.
I've already tried things like changing DNS and restarting my router
(which still gave me the same IP address I had). I know there were
recent DDoS attacks against other Arch sites like the AUR. However, I've
checked the Wiki status [1] and everything seems normal. I've also tried
using tools to change the IP address, and I can access it. I've
confirmed there are recent edits, which tells me it's not a global issue.

My concern is that they've blocked me—not my username, but my IP
address. I tend to be active reading and editing on the Wiki. Could
someone confirm whether IP-based blocks are currently in place, and if
so, how can I request to be unblocked? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

It could be a possibility. You can contact one of the devops on IRC
Devops channel or DM me in IRC / Matrix. Alternatively send me your IP
on an direct email to check.

IRC devops channel: #archlinux-devops at irc.libera.chat
Matrix: [email protected]

Does KevinCrrl's issue related to

?
I do not know if Anubis is still deployed, or has not been improved in the mean
while.

Anubis does not do IP-based blocks, so this can never be the cause of Anubis.
