If you are using `archbuild`, simply use the -c option ONCE (not

is literally the right thing to do here, so even the `rm -rf` command

`mkarchroot` and use `makechrootpkg` for building.
Note: option -c is something different in archbuild and makechrootpkg
Very much appreciated. I saved the chroot, so it is still in the the
same state it was when I originally posted. The basic chroot was simply
created using mkarchroot and I build with makechrootpkg, so I can nuke
it and "rebuild".
My primary concern was that the error:
... is not at version v6. Please "rebuild".
meant there was an official way to "rebuild" without removal that I
wasn't smart enough to find in the wiki or man pages. I'm fine deleting
it all and starting over.
One question. Can I just delete $CHROOT/root and run mkarchroot again
preserving the dependencies in $CHROOT/david, or would it be better to
simple delete $CHROOT and reinstall all dependencies?
Thanks.
