All,

I thought I'd improve a HP ProOne 600 (i5 8500) with a fresh Arch install. Disabled secure boot per https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide, and booted the Arch 2025-02-01 install iso burned to usb with dd per the https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/USB_flash_installation_medium. I get the boot menu and choose the default (first) option. I then get a couple of errors (3 total, all the same except for the file extensions .BCL, .BCM and .BQC:

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Faiure creating named object [\_SB.PCI0.G?.BCL] (and .BCM and .BQC), AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20240827/dsw-load2-326)
ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (202408???ject-220)

I'm not sure what character(s) are where I have the "?" above, that was cut off my picture on the left of the screen.

The installer then tries to boot (looks like first few chars guessed):

Starting early hook [udev]
Loading systemd-udevd version 257-2-2-arch
Starting early hook [archiso_pxe_ndb]
Starting hook [udev]
Triggering uevents...

(hangs)

The "Starting early hook [archiso_pxe_ndb]" seems to indicate it's trying to boot via pxe instead of from usb??

This is my first new install in a long time. Does anything stand out? Is there a trick to make this work?

  Any help appreciated.
