Have you enabled the extra-testing repo in your pacman config? If so there is currently a bug in the ell dependency (v0.68) of iwd.
Issue can be found here: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/ell/-/issues/1 Try downgrading ell to 0.67 and see if that resolves the issue.
