Hello zoorat, I suggest to follow authorities like the Académie Française. Wikipedia claims Bangla has a Bangla Academy. What would they say? When I translate to German, I do prefer German words, when there’s no good argument against it. The terminology of Debian’s or GNOME’s or other translations is also relevant. I do not find a Bangla team on <https://translationproject.org/team/index.html> though.
