Hi,

if you haven't dealt with Arch kernel PKGBUILDs for a while, then the
sources are a bit confusing [1] ;). It's not that KISS in the sense of
transparency as the old PKGBUILDs with sources directly from upstream
and patches included to the tarball, but that's just my opinion.

However, maybe linux-lts [2] is able to temporarily workaround the issue
for you.
