Hi,

that "it was deprecated in Linux 5.18, with removal planned for 2025"
( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReiserFS ) doesn't explain the issue,
neither is it helpful, but IMO after fixing the problems you should
migrate to another file system.
